Crabs are being fished in many seas, but they are rear “guests” on Lithuanian dinner table or table of few other nations. In Greece you will have a chance to taste crabmeat, because it is considered a gourmet dish and is valued more than more popular shrimps or lobsters. Crab – great source of vitamin B12, it has a lot of zinc which is very good for immune system. About 100 g of crabmeat contains 84 kcal., 1 g of fat, 0 g of fiber. Juicy crab meat will enrich any dish with its piquancy.
We’ll spend all afternoon fishing crabs in very interesting way and in the evening we will prepare them by using Greek recipes. Also, during this interesting activity you’ll be able to bathe in Aegean Sea and enjoy sun on marvelous beach full of scallops. Those who like such seafood, will have a chance to add it to the dinner table. We will take care of all fishing equipment; you’ll only have to take care of good mood!

DURING THE EXCURSION:

You will learn to catch crabs in a new and interesting way, later we will use your catch to make a tasty dinner.
Gather scallops.
Will be introduced to Greek recipes for preparing sea food.
Sunbathe
Swim in Aegean Sea.

Excursion takes up to 6 – 7 hours. During the excursion we’ll travel about 350 km by car.
You should have beach towels, swimwear and prepare some food and beverages.
Crab fishing only happens in June and July.

DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL, PLACE AND TIME OF EXCURSION

Participants of excursion must gather at the entrance to the hotel on agreed time. After excursion they will be transported back to the hotel.

Tourists in Euboea Island: Central Euboea, Chalcis, Eretria, Malaconda, Aliveri are taken from hotels and brought back after excursion. It is included in price of excursion. Departure at 14.00 am.
