LYKOS WINERY – WINE ROAD

One of main winemakers of Euboea Island invites you to his land. Lykos Winery is winemaker family business in Euboea Island in Malaconda region near Chalkida city.
Today this business is nourished by third generation of winemakers, who make their own perfected unique vine. They use old wine traditions, but their process is also modernized with new technologies. This is how they contribute to future of wine industry of Euboea Island and fulfill their family business dreams.
Now you have an opportunity to visit Lykos Winery wine kitchen, to be introduced to process of winemaking ( leavening and fermentation process), to hear detailed story of winemaking process, to get down to the cellar and see with your own eyes  the maturing of wine in oak barrels, also you will have a chance to participate in tasting of wine. You will also be able to buy the wine directly from winemakers and bring it home as a preset for your relatives. This tradition of Lyko family is passed on through generations with love and passion for this work, from fathers to sons and each year it wins awards and symbols of uniqueness in international contests. Their wines are shipped to USA, Canada and some Asian countries… but if you want to know more you’ll have to visit them yourself… After wonderful winetasting you can have a meal in family’s restaurant – tavern, where your taste receptors will not only be intrigued by Lykos Wines, but also by traditional dishes of Greek kitchen.

PLACES VISITED IN COURSE OF EXCURSION
Excursion – wine tasting and visit to Lykos Winery fabric.
During the excursion we’ll travel about 20 km by car. Duration of excursion is about 3 hour including 1.30 hours of dinner. You’ll be traveling with travel guide’s vehicle.
Excursion information will be provided in Lithuanian, Russian and English languages.

DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL, PLACE AND TIME OF EXCURSION

Participants of excursion must gather at the entrance to the hotel on agreed time.  After excursion they will be transported back to the hotel.

Departure at 11.00 am.

Only for participants who lives in Euboea island.

PRICE OF EXCURSION FOR ONE PERSON – 20 EUR
Groups are counted individually.
